Come learn the ancient traditional game of Mah jongg. This isn't the same game you play on the Internet, this is the 1,000 year old game played by Chinese royalty throughout the ages. This class series will be taught at the Noblesville Library on Saturday mornings, May 4 through June 15 (skipping May 18) from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Class size is limited to eight and registration is required. Please commit to attending all sessions as new skills are learned in each class, and missing a class means you won't have the skills to build on and you will slow down the group. This is a drop-in Story Time for preschoolers and their families. We will read stories at 10:00 followed by an open craft time until noon.

For all ages. No registration required. Would you like to read to a dog or just pet a dog and get doggie kisses? Love on a Leash will have local volunteers here with their registered therapy dogs. Reading to dogs helps kids build self-esteem and confidence.

In honor of writer Douglas Adams, we will be celebrating Towel Day 2013 by showing the film Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. Don't forget to bring your towel, you hoopy frood!

The greatest adventure in the universe begins when the world ends. Earthling Arthur Dent learns that his planet is about to be demolished and his only chance for survival is to hitch a ride on the passing spacecraft. He discovers many things on his journey, but the most important is that everything you need to know can be found in one book: The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy. This film is rated PG for thematic elements, action, and mild language.

Basics of how to use your digital camera, picture modes and menu options, accessories, terminology, and what to look for when buying a camera. Connect your camera to the computer, transfer pictures to hard drive, modify photos, and develop photographs through online services.

Note: Students must bring their own camera, connecting cable, camera equipment and/or hardware that will allow them to connect to the computers.

Students must be 16 years of age or older to attend this class.
