Mah Jongg Club

Where: Fishers Library at Fishers East

Mah Jongg Club meets most Thursdays, 5:30 to 8:45 p.m., and most Tuesdays 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Fishers Library. One great club, twice as much fun. This club is open to anyone who knows how to play, rookie to expert. This club will use National Mah Jongg Rules. Players need to bring their Mah Jongg rules card, their set if they have one, and four dollars in change (mostly quarters). Food and drinks are allowed in the library and a refrigerator is available so bring your lunch or snacks if you'd like. (LS)

Noblesville Babytime

This lapsit program is for infants through young toddlers and their caregiver. Participate in rhymes, songs, and stories with your little one. Babytimes are designed to familiarize babies with sounds, words, and stories and to encourage the development of motor skills. Caregivers will take away ideas for playing with baby in a meaningful way.

An informal English conversation class, where participants are encouraged to discuss topics of the day. Members also engage in guided discussion exercises. This class is a fun way for non-native English speakers of ALL levels to practice their English skills in a comfortable, supportive atmosphere. Beginning Conversational Spanish

This free class will meet on eight Tuesdays, April 8 - June 3 (with the exception of May 27), at the Fishers Library from 7-8 p.m. This class will not focus on grammar, and is not designed specifically for travel Spanish, but will instead focus on speaking skills useful on a day-to-day basis within your own community. You must be at least 18 years of age to attend. Current Hamilton East Public Library cardholders will be given priority for registering for this program. Instructor Ellen Binder has been teaching Spanish to adults and children for more than 20 years. Registration is required. Noblesville Storytime

Storytime is for older toddlers through preschoolers and their caregiver. Sing, play and listen to stories followed by an activity or craft.
