For your convenience, new fiction, non-fiction and large print materials are now located near the main lobby areas at both the Noblesville and Fishers Libraries. New children’s materials in Fishers are now located in an easy-to-access location just inside the Youth Services area.
HEPL is in the process of reevaluating and reorganizing our volunteer program. We are not accepting new volunteer applications at this time, but will continue to work with our current volunteer group to assure their experiences remain both fulfilling and rewarding.
For those who are interested in finding a volunteer opportunity, we might recommend one of the following organizations –
Friends of the Hamilton East Public Library
Goodwill industries (524-4313)
Third Phase Christian Center (773-5100)
Hamilton County Humane Society (773-4974)
City of Noblesville (Volunteer Coordinator Cindy Benedict - (776-6324)
Great news! Once an item you have placed on hold becomes available, you now have 7 days to pick up your items! Hopefully these two extra days will make it even more convenient for those of you who visit us on a weekly basis.
Please note the following dates for library closings –
May 27 and 28 – both libraries will be closed for Memorial Day. Outside drop boxes remain open. No materials will be due on those dates.
June 24 – Fishers Library and outside drop box will be closed on this Sunday afternoon in preparation for the Fishers Freedom Festival parade. The Noblesville Library will remain open during regular business hours. No library materials will be due on that date.
