Homebound Delivery
Yes, we make house calls! And sometimes a good book or video is just what the doctor ordered!
The rich collections of the entire Hamilton East Public Library are available to you through our free Homebound Delivery service.
Select from our large collection of -
- Regular or large print books
- Books recorded on audio cassette
- Music Compact Discs (CDs)
- Videos and DVDs
- Magazines
You can check out library materials for up to 3 weeks and may even choose to renew them once if you wish. Plus, there are never any overdue fines!
A friendly member of the Hamilton East Public Library staff will deliver materials right to your door and also return any materials to the library for you.
It couldn't be more convenient!
We personalize this service to every individual and welcome special requests.
Any resident of Delaware, Fall Creek, Noblesville or Wayne Township in Hamilton County who is unable to visit the library due to age, illness, or injury, whether permanent or temporary, is eligible for this service.
Daycares and Preschools
Need a "Cat in a Hat" or some "Green Eggs and Ham"? Get a healthy helping for all of your classes, because the Library also offers free materials delivery and on-site programming to area daycares and preschools. Teachers can always read stories to the children, but why not have someone from the library do it for them? And we include fun activities, too!
Senior/Special Care Facilities
Remember your first crush? Your first car? The fashions you wore? The music on the radio? Let us take you on a trip down memory lane! The Library's Mobile Outreach Service offers special programs designed to transport your group to another time and place. Free library materials delivery and pickup, too!
