Beginning on August 10th, we are expanding our daytime hours and reopening our Ignite Studio Kit Library by reservation only. Our hard-working staff have been monitoring our spaces and collections, socially distancing, wearing face coverings, implementing our ongoing cleaning protocols, and doing all the things necessary to safely and thoughtfully expand access for our patrons.
Here are several changes you will notice starting today:
New Expanded Hours
- Monday-Thursday: 10:00 am. – 7:00 pm.
- Friday-Saturday: 10:00 am. – 5:00 pm.
- Sunday: Closed
Book Your Own Curbside Holds Pickup
You can now schedule online your curbside holds pickup service! Our continued commitment to serving our at-risk and vulnerable patrons with contact-free curbside holds pickup has become easier to schedule. You will simply need to access the library’s website and schedule your appointment here. Remember, same-day appointments are not available. For those who are able, we ask that you park and come into our buildings to checkout materials and pickup seed packs—no appointment necessary. Because of the demand for our maker kits, we are reopening our kit library and will no longer offer curbside creativity packs. Ignite Studio Kit Library Reopens
We are excited to share with our makers that the Ignite Studio kit library will reopen on August 10th. Both adult and kids kit libraries are reopening with care. This means things will look a little different than the last time you came to check out a kit.
A big difference to your experience will be that you’ll now need to make a reservation. Reservations are two-hour blocks of time and can be made by calling us at 317.579.0331 or email us at IgniteReservations@hamiltoneastpl.org. Indiana Room by Appointment
Did you know that our Indiana Room is open by appointment? The Indiana Room, located on the second floor of the Noblesville Library, houses a special collection dedicated to preserving and providing local and state history, genealogy and family history, and general information pertaining to the State of Indiana. While the Indiana Room is only found at our Noblesville Branch, you can access many of the resources available in the Indiana Room on the library website. You will need to make an appointment for your visit to the Indiana Room.
