Outfoxed

OutfoxedOutfoxed

By: Mike Twohy

It’s a dark night. Fox breaks into the hen house to grab a chicken for dinner. After a harrowing escape from the guard dogs Fox returns to his den, and pulls the chicken out of his pocket. Imagine his surprise when he finds that instead of a chicken he has grabbed a duck from the hen house! Fox adjusts his appetite, thinking that duck will be okay for dinner instead. But Duck has other ideas and does his best to convince Fox that he is really a dog, making for a hilarious book for all fans of trickster tales.

Mike Twohy is a regular cartoon contributor to the New Yorker magazine.
“Outfoxed” appears on the Young Hoosier Book Award list of nominated books for the 2015-2016 school year.
