The Last Kids on Earth

The Last Kids on EarthThe Last Kids on Earth

By: Max Brallier

The Last Kids on Earth, a cross between Diary of a Wimpy Kid and The Walking Dead, is all about how the underdog comes out on top in the end. When the monster apocalypse hits and zombies are around every corner, can thirteen-year-old Jack Sullivan survive? He’s holed up in a fortified tree house with his best friend, but has to be so very careful because danger is all around, particularly from the ugliest, meanest, yet most intelligent monster there is…Blarg! He has Jack’s scent and is hunting him just like a killer hunts his prey.

Never fear though, Jack is a post-apocalyptic action hero with more than one trick up his sleeve. With the help of his trusted friends and his pet monster, Rover, prepare to be entertained. Jack’s wittiness and flare for the dramatic make this a fun and thrilling read for kids ages 8-12 who crave a little excitement and danger in their reading choices.
