The Witch Hunter

The Witch Hunter

The Witch HunterThe Witch Hunter

Elizabeth hunts witches.  She’s one of the best hunters that her king employs despite being a petite, blonde sixteen year old. Witchcraft is forbidden and those who are brought in by Elizabeth and her best friend Caleb are swiftly burned at the stake. The tables are turned however and Elizabeth becomes the hunted when she’s accused of being a witch herself.  The only one that seems to be able to save her is the most wanted wizard in all of the kingdom.  He makes a deal with Elizabeth:  he’ll save her if she agrees to find the wizard who placed and powerful curse on him.

If you like Graceling or Throne of Glass, you’ll love The Witch Hunter.  It’s a fast paced fantasy thriller with likable characters.  The rhythm of the book seemed a little off but with lots of magic, mystery, sword fights, betrayals and a little romance, it more than makes up for it.
