Magic awaits at our annual Harry Potter Book Night reimagined into a fully virtual week of everything magical and fantastical! Beginning on February 1 and continuing through Sunday, February 7, join us virtually for our Week of Wizardry and Wonderment. If you are a fan of dragons, unicorns, fairies and magic, you won’t want to miss the excitement that we have planned. Hamilton East Public Library truly has something for everyone to enjoy.

Teen Intro to D&D
Tuesday, February 2 | 4:30 – 6 PM

Teens, do you dare to dabble in sorcery? Feel like slaying a few goblins? Want to become a true wizard? Maybe an elf with a sense of magic and love of nature. Join us virtually and learn how to play the popular role-playing game Dungeons and Dragons. For grades 6-12, registration is required for Zoom information


Professor Steve’s High Voltage Electricity Show on Facebook Live

Electricity is sometimes the closest thing we have to magic in the real world. Join Professor Steve on Wednesday February 3 at 6:00 p.m., as we by learning about the bewitching power of electricity! The show will be live on our Facebook Page!


Virtual Family Fantasy Trivia
Thursday, February 4 | 6-7 PM

Test your knowledge of fantasy fandoms, literature, movies, and more! Bring your brains and be ready to compete in this interactive experience that combines Kahoot and Zoom! Winners will choose their prize from a list of digital gift cards–$50 for first place, $30 for second place, and $20 for third place.


Learn how to draw Mythical Creatures!
Saturday February 6 | 11 a.m.

Learn to use basic shape construction and simple line techniques to create imaginative Mythical Creatures! No prior drawing experience needed in the follow-along program. Supplies needed are simple: just grab a pencil, a few sheets of paper and eraser before you join the class. You must register for this program to get the Zoom link. Space is limited. Ages 7 and up.


Dragon Egg and Fairy Light Crafts

Kids of all ages can learn how to make dragon eggs and fairy jars with some simple supplies with Noblesville Youth Services craft extraordinaire, Ms. Laura. View the video starting February 1 here.
