And within a very short period of time everything unravels. The group loses their way on the trail, encounters a charismatic stranger with questionable motives, and discovers a dead body. Soon it becomes very clear that the danger within the woods is a lot worse than a few bumps, bruises and bug bites. As the tension mounts all friendships are tested and the ultimate goal for these teenagers is to try and survive the most sinister of circumstances.
If you’re interested in suspense and looking for quite the thrill ride, then this book is perfect for you. Author Kieran Scott weaves a wonderfully, thrilling tale around the backdrop of young love, friendship and self-discovery. Her book does a great job of establishing a tension-grabbing atmosphere with accurate teen dialogue and dynamics.
